Oh man, the theories that surround this one
I got home to this interesting little tidbit of news.
Matt Leinart To Be a Dad : People.com
Our prevailing thought in Casa de Gatto here is, "Oh, man, how stupid is he?" Not that I have any idea what Matt's life is like or what his relationship is like with Ms. Cameron. But I would say that getting a girl knocked up so near a $51 million contract does in fact question a) her motivations and b) his intelligence. At least it wasn't someone random, Matt.
I hope that it's actually love on both sides that this child will be born into and not any one of the theories that have been floating around here. My personal favorite is, "Oops, I forgot to take my birth control for the last three months."

Correction - my gossip sources say that according to reports, Brynn Cameron got knocked up post-Rose Bowl and pre-draft. So while none of us had any idea how much Matt Leinart would make, he already had an agent.

The timing in all of this is wierd. He dated this girl for about a year and then they broke up over the photos of him groping girls at a party (pre Rose Bowl). Then Matt went party boy and started dating Paris Hilton (May) and others, but clearly he was still seeing Brynn occasionally.
The AP story say she is expecting the baby in November (minus 9 months equals Feb, 6 weeks-2 months after the break-up). Just long enough for the birth control pills to reliably wear off . . . and stories say she didn't tell him until about a month ago. If they were still friendly, you'd think he would have noticed the pregnancy before the end of July.
The story seems to say that she found out about the pregnancy about a month ago... So, doing the math she is about 6 months pregnant... how the hell did she not know about this...
