Pride and Prejudice: I LOVED this movie!

I read Pride and Prejudice a long time ago when I was in 6th or 7th grade. I recall liking the book a lot, though I never had any real reason to pick it up again. This movie was SO good. I have to say I was surprised and delighted. It was beautifully made and the acting was simply superb. We had just watched Domino, and for Keira Knightley to go from portraying Domino to Elizabeth Bennet was astonishing, to say the least. I'm only sorry I didn't see it in theaters. I returned my Blockbuster.com version and I'll be purchasing myself a copy, as well as picking up the book to re-read it.

I wonder, though, how much social commentary I missed reading it when I was little.
